Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kyle Busch and Other Names From NASCAR Wish Fans a Merry Christmas

One of the few times that NASCAR drivers get time off from the racing calendar is during the holiday season. While the NASCAR season ended in November, most drivers continued to go wheel to wheel in different forms of racing.

But it is now, the time between the next season and the follow-through of the season gone by when drivers can go home and spend time with their near and dear ones during the festive season.

Many drivers posted Christmas wishes on their social media accounts for their fans and followers.

NASCAR will bring gifts in February

For Christmas, NASCAR is giving gifts to its fans a little later, in the form of racing action in a completely new and historical venue.

Yes, for the coming season, the racing is going where it has never gone before – the LA Coliseum.

The Clash at the Coliseum is one of the most heavily anticipated races in the coming season simply because of the significance of the venue and what it can mean for NASCAR’s future.

While it’s a well-known fact that the venue isn’t exactly fit for a racing track, NASCAR is doing more than just constructing a race-track to make it race fit.

So far, there have been announcements of a Pitbull concert and reports of an NFL-like half-time show.

This is something which, along with what’s on offer at face value, is increasing fans’ excitement with every passing day, in anticipation of what would be a historic event, a spectacle of stock-car racing at a historic event.

Who are the favorites in 2022?

With the Next Gen car taking over the duty from the outgoing Gen 6, the expected pecking order is probably going to be shaken up in the coming season. Regardless, as is the case always, a few names are always in the fray as favorites.

2021’s champion Kyle Larson is expected to successfully defend his title. The other contenders are expected to be Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Busch.
