This past Friday, Boston wrapped up 2021 with a 123-108 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Center Robert Williams III was the offensive standout of the game for Boston, dropping a triple-double with 11 rebounds, 10 points, and 10 assists. Williams is listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s game with a toe injury, and should be considered a game-time decision. Otherwise, he is having his best season as a professional, and against the Magic earlier this season, he recorded 12 points, six rebounds and a block.
One thing the Celtics have been especially strong at this year is limiting opponents’ assists on scoring opportunities. Boston has allowed others to come away with just 21.8 assists per game this season, which is the second-lowest mark in the NBA.

Orlando closed out 2021 with a pair of losses to the defending NBA champion Bucks.
