Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, 50-3 (41), former WBA Super Fly champ from Nicaragua. He was 46-0 when he lost to Wiksaksil Wangek, 42-4-1 in back-to-back fights. In his last battle in March of 2021, he lost to Juan Estrada, 42-3, and is scheduled in March in a rematch.

Oscar Valdez, 30-0 (23), WBC World Super Feather champ, from Mexico. In his last fight in September, he defeated Olympic Gold medalist Robson Conceicao, 16-0.
Gervonta “Tank” Davis, 26-0 (24), WBA World Light champ, from Baltimore, Maryland. In December, he won the WBA World Light title defeating Isaac Cruz, 22-1-1.
Terence “Bud” Crawford, 38-0 (29), WBO World Welter champ, from Omaha, Nebraska. In his last fight in November, he stopped former IBF and WBC champ Shawn Porter. It’s rumored he may move up in weight.
Errol “The Truth” Spence, 27-0 (21), IBF and WBC World Welter champ, from Desoto, Texas. He is scheduled to fight WBA champ Yordenis Ugas in a unification match, awaiting a date. His last fight was in December 2020, defeating WBC champ Danny “Swift” Garcia, 36-2.
It’s been a year. Gennadiy “GGG” Golovkin, 41-1-1 (36), IBF and IBO World Middle champ, from KAZ, and L.A., California. GGG didn’t fight in 2021, being his December bout with WBA champ Murata in Japan was canceled due to the pandemic.
Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, 57-1-2 (39), WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBF World Super Middle champ, from Mexico. In 2021 being recognized as “Fighter of the Year” in some circles, he had three wins.
In February, he stopped Avni Yildirim, 21-2, in 3 rounds at the Miami Gardens, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, FL. In May of 2021, in a unification bout, he stopped WBO champ Billy Joe Saunders, 30-0, in 8 rounds at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX.
In this third match in November, he stopped IBF champ Caleb Plant, 21-0, in 11 rounds. He is planning to move up to light heavyweight and challenge for a world title in 2022.
Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez, 43-0 (29), former WBO World Super Middle champ, from Mexico. He had two wins in 2021. In July, he knocked out Sullivan Barrera, 22-3, in 4 rounds Banc at California Stadium, Los Angeles, CA.
In December, he stopped Yunieski Gonzalez, 21-3, in 10 rounds at the AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, TX. He’s looking to move up to light heavyweight and challenge one of the champs in 2022.
