Oman Cricket, in a landmark deal, has joined hands with Mazoon Dairy S.A.O.C as their Grassroot and Nourishment partner on Thursday (February 3). The association aims to unearth local talents and give them a platform where they get the right exposure for international cricket.
Oman, who impressed one and all in the recently concluded ICC T20 World Cup, is keen to build a bench strength of local players, who will serve the country at the international level in the future.
An elated Chairman of Oman Cricket, Pankaj Khimji stated that both associations share the same vision and it is a pleasure to have Mazoon Dairy onboard.
“I am beyond ecstatic today. As they say, the cream always rises to the top and by focusing on values such as sustainable growth and community empowerment, Mazoon Dairy has done exactly that over the past five years. These are ideals that we at Oman Cricket share too, so it is a real pleasure to announce Mazoon Dairy as our Grassroot and Nourishment partner,” Khimji said in a statement.
