FOREST GROVE, Ore.- The Pacific women’s tennis team returned to the Holce Tennis Courts to face the College of Idaho. It was a tight contest but the Coyotes edged the Boxers 5-4 to come out on top.
Sydnie Binder (Junior/Beaverton, OR) competed in the number-one spot for the first time this season and made quick work of her opponent with a 6-1, 6-0 win in singles.
Cassidy Binder (Sophomore/Beaverton, OR) dominated her singles match as well at the number-two position, coming away with the 6-1, 6-1 victory.
Jessica Eligio (Junior/Mililani, HI) earned her first singles win of the spring with a three-set victory (6-4, 6-7, 11-9) as the number-four.
With a 6-0 win, the Binder sisters continued to impress as a doubles partnership.
