WASHINGTON, DC – The Cleveland Charge (2-15) of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, fell to the Capital City Go-Go (13-6), 114-105, at the Entertainment & Sports Arena on Monday night.
Acquired in a trade last Thursday, Cameron Young poured in 41 points on 5-of-10 from three-point range and including 10 points from the foul line to go along with a pair of steals in 43 minutes. Dylan Windler posted his third double-double on assignment with the Charge this season, scoring 22 points and grabbing 14 boards in 41 minutes. Justin James scored 20 points, had seven rebounds and dished five assists in 42 minutes. Norvel Pelle added his second double-double of the year with 12 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks in 32 minutes.
Capital City’s reserves outscored the Charge relief on the night, 63-8, led by Cassius Winston’s 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting in 23 minutes off the bench. Jordan Goodwin scored 21 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished seven assists in 35 minutes. Devontae Shuler scored 15 points and DeJon Jarreau added 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals for the Go-Go.
