UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men’s soccer head coach Jeff Cook announced the addition of Kaleb Alva to the program on Monday.
Alva is a 5’10 fullback who played high school soccer at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida.
Since 2020, Alva has played with club team SIMA Montverde Academy that competes in USL League Two.
He also played club ball with the Orlando City Soccer Club from 2018-20 and Boca United Soccer Club from 2017-18.
Alva said, “The reason I chose Penn State was due to the overall commitment to the character and integrity of each individual inside the soccer program, as well as the university as a whole.”
He plans to major in Kinesiology and pursue a career in physical therapy.
