LEWISTOWN — Mifflin County kept it close, but ultimately fell just short as the Huskies were defeated 3-2 to Cedar Cliff in a Mid-Penn Conference tennis match Friday.
The Huskies had a win each in singles and doubles with Luke Grove winning in a singles match over Hunter Knosky by winning the first set 6-2, then dropping the second set 5-7 before closing it out in a 6-2 third set.
The duo of Gunnar Wagner and Zander Cradier won their doubles match over Thomas Kaiser and Trent Sunday in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3.
