Tamarack Resort is one step closer to building estate lots east of the Osprey Meadows Golf course.
Last night, the Valley County Planning and Zoning Commission gave the Osprey Meadow Estates a green light.
The estate site would feature 15 homes on almost 13 acres of land. The application letter said the Tamarack Resort is “intending” to build these lots while the redevelopment and rehabilitation of the golf course take place.
“At the same time (last summer) Tamarack was reacquiring the golf course. Working with its original golf course architect, Tamarack took the opportunity to revisit the playability and user experience of the golf course as originally designed and constructed and it was felt that some improvements could be made on a few of the holes,” the application letter said. “One of the outcomes of re-aligning some holes was the freeing up of some additional real estate that would allow some very fine residential lots that could be developed on an area that is part the existing the golf course.”

The estates are part of Tamarack’s plans to fix up the golf course. As BoiseDev reported here, Tamarack Resort was able to strike a deal to acquire the entire golf course. Back in fall 2021, the plan was to open a driving range this summer and have the entire course reopened by summer 2023.
