Golf in South Korea is one of the most popular sports. There are plenty of professional golfers, especially in women’s golf. Moreover, the current world no.1 in women’s golf Jin Yong Ko is from South Korea. Additionally, it is surprising to note that there are around ten South Korean golfers on the LPGA Tour in the top 50 world rankings.
However, when it comes to the men’s side on the PGA Tour, there are a couple of good golfers like Sung-Jae IM and Si-woo Kim. Hence, this shows the popularity of the game in this country. And hopefully, we will see more golfers coming from this region in the future as well.
