A video of an incident that occurred at the Newark Airport surfaced today where an ex-NFL player, assaulted an airline worker after a discussion broke out at the airline’s luggage desk.
At a few minutes past midnight former NFL player, Brendan Langley was detained by the New York Police and he was charged with simple assault.
He was third round pick at the NFL draft
Langley was in the 2017 NFL Draft as a third-round pick from Lamar University, he is currently playing at the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders.
An update from the New York Post mentioned that the passenger was arrested although in the video the airline’s employee was the one who began the confrontation, and tried to hit Langley.

At the luggage depository from United Airlines, they started arguing and eventually started pushing and then slapping each other, when the airline employee attempted to hit Langley.
Langley used his instincts and punched the employee in the jaw and it send him straight to the ground, he fell near the luggage band almost hitting his head with it.

The video demonstrated the ability to throw a punch at the ex-drafted man, where after the employee got knocked out, he stood up a few moments later but he was still stumbling and tried to continue the fight but everyone told them to cool down, then witness says airport police came to break up the fight.
