Memorial Tournament purse 2022
The total purse for the Memorial in 2022 will be $12 million. This represents a $2.7 million increase in the year-over-year value of the purse, as it was $9.3 million in 2021.
The Memorial ranks tied as the sixth highest-paying golf tournament purse on the PGA Tour behind the Tour Championship ($75 million), Players Championship ($20 million), FedEx St. Jude Championship ($15 million), BMW Championship ($15 million) and the U.S. Open ($12.5 million).

How much money does the winner get?
The winner of the Memorial is expected to receive $2.16 million. This is nearly half a million more than 2021 winner Patrick Cantlay took home given the increase in the total purse.
Once again, the Memorial is tied as the sixth highest-paying tournament in terms of a winner’s share. The highest-paying winner’s share on the tour is at the Tour Championship; it will give the winners $17 million in total.
