Major League Baseball (MLB) has signed a multi-year, ‘official vodka’ agreement with Distill Brands International (DBI), with the deal covering the US and Canada.
The multi-year partnership will see Distill’s vodka products gain promotion across the league’s broadcast and digital platforms, including MLB Network, as well as the league’s website.
DBI has also gained a package of marketing and activation rights across MLB’s premium events, including All-Star Week and the World Series. The deal also allows DBI to use MLB promotional displays at retail locations, this branding will initially be rolled out in California, Florida and New York before being expanded more broadly across North America.
“We look forward to bringing MLB fans and DBI customers together in celebration of the great game of Baseball,” said Paul Neelin, DBI founder and chief executive.
Noah Garden, chief revenue officer at MLB, added: “With their breadth of creativity and experience in the industry, DBI is a great addition to the MLB lineup of official sponsors.
“We look forward to working together over the coming years.”
