• Tom Glick named Chelsea’s president of business. The American will head up the day-to-day operations at the Premier League club, recently purchased by a consortium led by Todd Boehly. Glick’s MLS connections include a stint as NYCFC president and most recently Tepper Sports & Entertainment president during Charlotte FC’s start-up phase. He worked in England at Derby County and Manchester City and for the City Football Group, where he was responsible for global business operations.
• Bobby Shuttleworth joins Florida State women’s coaching staff. Shuttleworth, who recently retired after 14 seasons as a player in MLS, was named to new head coach Brian Pensky’s coaching staff for the 2022 season. Pensky also added Aaron Brunner, the former Richmond United ECNL director.
