The New Martinsville Rotary Club hosted the 5th Annual Buddy Light/Keith Craycraft Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 27, 2022. A beautiful sun filled day greeted 56 golfers to Sistersville Country Club. The day featured hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages for the golfers as they made their way around the course. Following the golf they were treated to a pizza and sub dinner provided by Pascoás.
First place team members were Chris Poe, Jeremy Shepherd, Steve Wetzel and Ron Burkhammer. The Second place team members were Tom Myslinsky, Jeremy Blain, Trey Blain and Dan Mason. Claiming Third palce was Michael Jorris, Scott Jorris, Drew Clegg and Roger Clegg.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the New Martinsville Rotaryás local charities and scholarship fund. In addition, money raised benefits the Rotary International efforts to eradicate Polio and provide clean water worldwide. In addition, two scholarships will be awarded in the name of Buddy Light and Keith Craycraft to a Magnolia High School Senior. Past scholarships recipients in attendance were Drew Clegg and Alex Parker.
