The Minnesota Timberwolves (5-5) and the New York Knicks (4-5) face each other for the first time this season at Target Center on Monday night.
Minnesota took a 129-117 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday night, where seven players scored in the double-digits for the Timberwolves. Karl-Anthony Towns had a game-high 25 points, Anthony Edwards put up 19 points, and Kyle Anderson contributed 16 points in the competition.
New York is coming off a 133-118 loss against the Boston Celtics on Saturday night. Julius Randle had 29 points and nine rebounds in the game, while Jalen Brunson and Isaiah Hartenstein both earned double-doubles with their contributions in the game. Brunson tallied 22 points and 10 assists, and Hartenstein had 10 points and 14 rebounds.
The Timberwolves and Knicks will meet again on Monday, March 20th in New York.
