For the first time in their history, the Vegas Golden Knights cruised through a five-game road trip by picking up five victories from Nov. 1-10 against Eastern Conference opponents.
The Golden Knights defeated the Washington Capitals, Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres during the 11-day swing to extend the team’s overall win streak to nine games.

2- Vegas won two of its games on the trip in overtime. Shea Theodore scored the winner in Washington to kick off the trip and Reilly Smith buried the deciding goal in Toronto.
5- Both Smith and Jack Eichel notched five goals each during the five-game span.
6- Alex Pietrangelo led the team with six assists during the voyage.
6- Mark Stone led the group with six takeaways on the trip.
7- Pietrangelo (1G, 6A) and Chandler Stephenson (2G, 5A) both ranked second on the team with seven points on the road trip.
9- Fittingly, No. 9 put up nine points as Eichel recorded five goals and four assists on the trip.
10- The Golden Knights picked up 10 of a possible 10 points during the swing.
17- Seventeen different players recorded at least one point in the last five games.
17- William Carrier had a team-high 17 hits on the trip.
20- Alec Martinez blocked 20 shots through the five games. Ouch!
21- Eichel’s 21 shots on goal led the group over the five contests.
23:10- Pietrangelo led the team on the swing with an average of 23:10 of ice time per game.
25- Vegas scored 25 goals during the trip which was the most in the NHL during that stretch from Nov. 1-10.
35.7- The power play clicked at a 35.7 percent click over the five games with five PPG’s in 14 attempts.
73.2- Stephenson won 73.2 percent of his faceoffs during the trip. He ranked third on the team in faceoffs taken with 56.
98- Vegas led the league from Nov. 1-10 with 98 blocked shots. Double ouch!
128- The team totaled 128 hits during the time away from its home ice.
997- Phil Kessel continued his ironman streak by appearing in all five games on the trip to bring his NHL-record streak up to 997 consecutive games played.
