Adley Rutschman vs. Other Elite Huggers
Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman’s hugging prowess became a thing of legend during his rookie season and it got me thinking: how does his hug tool stack up to other renowned huggers throughout history? Is it possible that, on top of his baseball skills, Rutschman is one of the best huggers the planet has ever seen? It’s not ridiculous to say yes.
Birds Watcher Free Agent Coverage

Several Signings Made Official
There was a flurry of transaction announcements on Friday, including a few that had already been public knowledge.
- the St. Louis Cardinals formalized their agreement with C Willson Contreras
- Xander Bogaerts was unveiled as the newest member of the San Diego Padres
- Lefty pitcher Andrew Heaney became the second high profile starting pitcher the Texas Rangers have signed this winter
- The Mets continued their spending bonanza by signing SP Jose Quintana, someone I wanted the Orioles to sign in the worst way.
Enjoy your day! We’ll be back tomorrow at the same time on the same channel. And hey, maybe the Orioles surprise us with a signing.
