In a recent Twitter post, Shelton announced that Clint Bowyer and the seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Jimmie Johnson, will join him on Monday’s episode of Barmageddon.
Of course, Johnson and Bowyer have been competitors for years, but it looks like the next face-off on the show will involve a lot of alcohol. But the loser has to chow down a delicious portion of fried bull testicles. Sure, it’s a high-protein meal, but maybe not be the first dish that comes to mind when you think about a delicious bar snack.
The plate of Rocky Mountain Oysters will decide the truth of their rivalry, as Shelton gives Bowyer a chance to rewrite history. It’s not a surprise that Shelton chose Johnson and Bowyer to accompany him on the show. As discussed earlier, the 7-time champ shares a wonderful friendship with the country music icon. In fact, he even designed his first helmet!
Blake Shelton designed the first helmet of Jimmie Johnson
Johnson departed from NASCAR to compete in the single-seater IndyCar series, and it sure was a big event for him. But he had an even more interesting idea heading into the season as he got his first-ever helmet designed by Blake Shelton!
In an episode of The Tonight Show With Jimmie Fallon, the seven-time Champ talked about the questionable idea he had.
Fallon asked Johnson, “You got to design it with Blake Shelton. How did you get involved with that man?” Jimmie replied. “At this point in my career and my life, I just want to do fun things with friends. And to have this opportunity to design the helmet together for supporting the American legion. It’s memorial day weekend. Blake’s family served, my grandfather served.”
