Across every major sport, people have been praying for the safety and well-being of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
It’s been over a week since a harrowing incident took place on the field at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, when Hamlin suddenly collapsed and went into cardiac arrest.
The 24-year-old was quickly rushed to a local hospital.
Earlier this week, Hamlin was allowed to travel back to Buffalo, but still had to remain in medical care as his condition steadily improved.
But the good news keeps coming.
Today, the Bills announced that Hamlin has been released and is finally headed home.
On Twitter, MLB analyst Bob Nightengale reacted to this uplifting news.
