PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph’s men’s tennis team turned in a dominant performance on Saturday night, blanking Lafayette by a 7-0 score at the Legacy Indoor Tennis Facility.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Saint Joseph’s (3-2) swept the doubles point in commanding fashion, dropping just six games en route to victories in all three flights.
• The Hawks topped the Leopards (2-5) in straight sets in all six singles matches. Nathan Perrone and Alp Sentay made quick work of their opponents in the first and third flights, respectively, before Eshan Kanetkar’s fourth-flight win sealed the match.
• Nickolas Frisk was also a winner in the second flight, while Nassim Fenjiro won at love in the sixth and Justus Agbo dropped just a single game in the fifth.

“We needed a team performance like this to bounce back from last weekend’s loss,” head coach Marc Pibernat said. “The guys came out with very good energy and it showed in both their doubles and singles performances. This match closes our indoor season and Monday we will have one practice outdoors before taking on Rider on Tuesday for our first outdoor match.”
