Howe’s side travelled to Saudi Arabia during the Premier League’s winter break in January. It was Newcastle’s first such trip since their takeover, which was largely funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
The Athletic reported earlier this month that Miami and Dubai have been suggested as possible destinations for another warm-weather training camp.
Speaking after the 2-1 win at Southampton on Thursday, Howe remarked that Newcastle were again considering going abroad.
“We might well go away,” the 44-year-old said. “We’re looking at taking the group somewhere to build, really, on what we did in Saudi (Arabia) which was a really, really good few days.
“It really did unite the squad, I think the players felt that and you’ve seen what has happened since we’ve come back. The results have been very strong and the spirit very good off the back of that, so we’ll look at doing something similar.”
