NEWS: Wolves’ on-loan Barcelona winger Francisco Trincao believes he deserves to play more
He also said that he believes he is doing “great things,” without being rewarded on the scoresheet.
Trincao has made 20 appearances this season, but has failed to score. After starting Wolves’ first five games of the season, he has only featured in one of the club’s last five games.
Speaking to Sky Sports on how to regain his spot, Trincao said: “I’m working to do that. I’m doing my best for the coach to think that (I should play more). It’s his decision, I have to respect it. Of course, I think I deserve more and I’m trying to do that and show that every day.
“If you just look for the end product, maybe you can say that (we haven’t seen the best of me). But if you look at football in terms of the whole game, you can say I’m doing great things.”

Boubakary Soumare interview
Soumare is quiet and guarded with those he doesn’t trust and rarely speaks to the media, but he sat down with The Athletic to assess his career to date, and his transition from the street football of east Paris to the Premier League.
“When you come here, you have to run.”
Soumare is learning the hard way that the physicality and speed of English football, and Leicester City’s style of play in particular, requires an adaptation. Rodgers loves the high work rate and energy of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in his midfield but Soumare knows he has to find the same intensity to add to his game.
Can he help Leicester to a win over Arsenal this afternoon?

NEWS: Anthony Gordon on Everton’s struggles — ‘A team of our calibre should not be experiencing this’
Everton winger Anthony Gordon has discussed Everton’s under-performance this season ahead of their game against Wolves on Sunday afternoon.
The club are facing genuine relegation concerns for the first time since 2003-04, having been in the hunt for the Champions League last season.
21-year-old winger Gordon made his first-team breakthrough this campaign, and has been a rare bright spot for Lampard’s side.
After Everton’s 5-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night, Lampard called him “by far and away our best player”.
Speaking about that game, Gordon revealed: “It was the lowest I’ve felt all season. We weren’t aggressive enough but it’s not one thing, it’s many things. A team of our calibre should not be experiencing this.”

ICYMI: Ralf Rangnick admits it’s a challenge coaching hat-trick hero Cristiano Ronaldo
Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick praised hat-trick hero Cristiano Ronaldo after his side’s 3-2 win at Old Trafford but admitted he’s challenging to coach.
Ronaldo missed Manchester United’s 4-1 defeat by rivals City last weekend with a hip injury and flew to his native Portugal which surprised the Old Trafford dressing room.
However, any unrest appeared to be cooled on Saturday evening with Ronaldo netting a sublime hat-trick against top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The 37-year-old became the all-time top scorer in professional football by netting three goals to take his tally up to 807.

Conte – “It’s hard to explain this loss”
His Tottenham side lost 3-2 at Manchester United yesterday after a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick.
Speaking to reporters after the game he said: “It is very difficult to explain this loss. In a difficult stadium and a difficult atmosphere against a strong team like United.
“I think we need to show more experience, to manage some situations, because the game is, when you play a game, there are many games inside the game.
“And I think sometimes you have to understand when to push, when to increase the intensity, and when is the moment to be calm and not hurry.
“I think in this aspect we have a lot of space for improvement. You don’t buy experience, you improve your experience after these types of games. We have many young players in the team and hopefully after this game they have the possibility to learn.”
