The La Vernia High School Lady Bears varsity golf team won the Pleasanton Invitational tournament March 28.
The Lady Bears took first place with a team score of 352.
Cesilee Mokry and Ashlynn Zimmerle took home individual awards as well. Mokry took first with a score of 82, and Zimmerle took second with a score of 83.
Nine other schools participated in the tournament hosted by Pleasanton which is viewed as a District preview. Congratulations to the Lady Bears!
