Herb said he ran behind a tree and kept ducking from side to side while Levine shot at the ground around him.”Boom, boom, boom — he shot me in the leg,” Herb said. “I could have been murdered. Because he had one bullet left. I was down. I couldn’t get up. I was broken. And she (Annie) came over and licked me. So yeah,” Herb said. But I’m wearing them out. Truthfully,” Herb said.Levine went to the hospital with chest pains after the shooting.He is now on house arrest at his daughter’s home facing attempted murder and other charges.He has not responded to a request for an interview.
