Anticipation is mounting for Capital One’s The Match, which will pit Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers against Kansas City Chiefs signal-caller Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills dual-threat Josh Allen. The trash talk has been free-flowing and ruthless between the NFL stars, though it reached a hilarious new height on Monday, per Bleacher Report.
Who would win, though? 😅#CapitalOnesTheMatch is Wednesday

Brady hilariously said that he and Rodgers tried to push for a wrestling cage match between fellow NFL stars Mahomes and Allen, though he joked that their lawyers’ better judgement prevented it from happening.
Now that would have been a hilarious sight to see, although their respective NFL head coaches would have also had something to say about it.
Just like Allen, who was roasted mercilessly by Brady, had the perfect way to characterize he and Mahomes’ matchup against the elder Rodgers and Brady.
Allen said that it’s “two old bulls vs. two young calves.” He and Mahomes have really been hammering home the fact that Brady and Rodgers were born years before the two young stars.
Of course, Rodgers and Brady have then played the experience card, with the Packers star poking fun at Mahomes for his lack of success on the golf course.
One thing is for sure. With no filter on the trash talk ahead of The Match, one can only imagine just how intense- and amusing- it will be on the course.
