Aaron Wan-Bissaka is likely to struggle next season if he stays at Manchester United.
The right-back’s limitations will be problematic for new manager Erik ten Hag but it is also a concern to see, as a fan, how a talented prospect like Wan-Bissaka can arrive at the club in 2018 and not develop his game one bit.
United paid Crystal Palace a whopping £49.5m fee for the full-back, who came through the ranks at Selhurst Park, as per Transfermarkt.
It is fair to say that decision has backfired and there has been multiple reports about United Ten Hag planning to move him on in the transfer.
However, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Wan-Bissaka is prepared to fight for his place at Old Trafford next season.
The player also believes he is at the stage of his career where he wants regular first-team football. This, however, is only achieved at the top level by performing well on a consistent basis. Not because you recently celebrated your birthday and have become a year older.
Sheth adds that a number of Premier League clubs are interested but no official bids have been made.

Wan-Bissaka has two years left to run on his current deal and the club have the option to extend that by a further year. That’s why there doesn’t seem to be anyone rushing around trying to find potential suitors.
Let us know in the comments section if you think Wan-Bissaka has what it takes to turn his career around under Ten Hag?
The jury is out.
