WACO, Texas – Baylor women’s tennis signed Danielle Tuhten for the 2022-23 season, head coach Joey Scrivano announced on Wednesday.
“We are excited to have Danielle join our team,” Scrivano said. “She’s an accomplished junior and a highly-motivated player with a passion for the process. Her maturity and competitive fire will serve our team well. Dani’s got a lot of grit, and her natural leadership skills will be an asset to the program.”
Tuhten, a native of Canada, captured the U14 and U16 Canadian Nationals singles titles as well as the U14 National doubles title. She was also a three-time National doubles finalist.
She’s been ranked as high as 238 by the Junior ITF with a highest UTR of 10.58. Tuhten has wins over five players ranked in the Top 50 ITA Juniors.
