Recently, it came to light that Brad Keselowski will not be able to use his name sticker in a particular font because Team Penske has placed a copyright claim on that font. So, during the pre-season test at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Keselowski’s name was in a different font.
It’s an in-house font of Penske’s own corporation, of course he’d care about it when it’s his own branding
it’s also not new news to see that Penske’s a perfectionist

When he spoke about the situation, Keselowski insisted that he was not going to fight his former team. He declared that he was ‘happy’ with the new font he has. The Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing driver admitted that he didn’t want to deal with the headache of having to change back to the original font.
How did the fans react to Brad Keselowski not challenging the claim
Some fans felt it was a little petty for Team Penske to bar Keselowski from using the font. However, others defended the team and cited the example of major brands that are rivals. Additionally, it was the Team Penske in-house font, so it would not be right to see it on a rival team.
It is petty for Penske to not allow Brad to use his own in-house font at a different company? Does Coca-Cola allow Pepsi to use their font? Does Chevrolet allow Ford to use their font?

It is also worth mentioning that the 2012 Cup Series champion may have felt that it was not worth the effort. This is because the font does not add any extra value to the Brad Keselowski name in NASCAR. In the end, it simply sparked off a debate about company rights against the fact that they are just words.
It’s Penske’s font but that font doesn’t add anything to Keselowski specifically so whatever.

Of course, Brad Keselowski has bigger things to worry about than the font of his name. He will be focusing on the 2022 season and the Next Gen car. The 37-year-old knows that he will have to try his hardest for the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing team; the outfit is not as big a race-winning contender as his previous team, so he will have to work harder. How do you think the 2022 season will shape up for Keselowski?
