The first two editions of the Senior Women’s T20 Challenger in 2009-10 and 2018-19 had 3 teams in India Red, Blue and Green and the tournament in 2019-20 had a little revamp with teams in India A, B and C. The tournament this time around, on return, after a year break, has a team more added in India D to the mix.
The upcoming edition of the tournament will run from the 20th to the 26th of November 2022 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur and the now, 4-team tournament will play each other once in a round-robin format with the top two from the group stage advancing to the final to play-off for the title.
