The Minnesota Timberwolves (10-9) return to Minnesota on Sunday afternoon to face the Golden State Warriors (10-10) at Target Center.
Minnesota fell to the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night, 110-108, ending a five-game win streak for the team. Anthony Edwards had a team-high 25 points in the competition. Rudy Gobert and D’Angelo Russell both earned double-doubles in the game, Gobert with 17 points and 17 rebounds, and Russell with 20 points and 10 assists.
Golden State is on a two-game win streak after defeating the Utah Jazz 129-118 on Friday night. Stephen Curry posted a game-high 33 points in the game, while Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson both contributed 20 points.
This is the first matchup between the Timberwolves and the Warriors this season, and they won’t meet again until Wednesday, February 1st at Target Center.
