BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Men’s Tennis Head Coach Mike Griffith announced the addition of Eduardo Taiguara Costa Dias to the team starting in the spring 2022 season.
“I immediately was impressed with his game style. He will hit a lot of balls and force his opponent to beat him, never beats himself,” said Griffith.
Dias has been ranked as high as #313 in the U18 World Junior Rankings. Through tournaments in Brazil, he was able to solidify himself as one of the top players in Brazil.
He attended Colegio-Saber School before enrolling at Gardner-Webb.
Griffith said, “He’s a tough kid who will be a great addition and teammate who loves tennis!”
