In a recent interview, John Cook revealed he doesn’t think Woods will be back on the PGA Tour in 2022. Cook explained that he thinks Tiger will not be physically fit for the tour.

John Cook is a former PGA Tour player; He has 11 titles from 1981 to 2001. Cook currently plays for the PGA Tour Champions and has 10 victories so far. He is also an old neighbor and a good friend of the GOAT.
Tiger Woods will be back, but not anytime soon
According to John Cook, the possibility of Tiger coming back to the PGA Tour in 2022 is not much. He said, “I don’t see it in the next 12 months. I think next time we see him will be [at the PNC Championship] next year [in 2022]. I don’t think his body will be physically ready. He can’t train the way he’s going to want to train.”
Although late, Cook thinks that Woods will return to the tour with all his might. He added that Tiger might return in the future or else he wouldn’t be testing the ball or working on his new driver. Hence, fans need not worry.

Cook also added that after the PNC, he talked to the golf legend, and Tiger revealed he was exhausted.
What does Tiger Woods think about his return?
“I think something that is realistic is playing the tour one day—never full time, ever again,” said Tiger, following his return.

While the words came as a shock to his fans, Woods think that the accident took a toll on him. He explained that after the accident, the amputation of the injured leg was an option. Thankfully, it didn’t happen as his recovery continues.

Due to the severity of the accident, Tiger thinks he can’t play throughout the tour. He added, “It’s an unfortunate reality, but it’s my reality. And I understand it, and I accept it.”
