Heading into Thursday night’s game against the Blackhawks, Suzuki led the Canadiens in scoring with seven goals and 12 assist in 35 games.

Nick Suzuki will represent the Canadiens at the NHL All-Star weekend, Feb. 4-6 in Las Vegas. It will be the first All-Star Game appearance for Suzuki, who leads the team in scoring with 19 points, including seven goals.

He was one of 10 players named to the Atlantic Division team captained by Toronto Maple Leafs centre Auston Matthews, who will be making his fourth all-star appearance.
There is the possibility of a second Montreal player in Las Vegas. Tyler Toffoli has been selected for the Last Men In voting, which allows fans to pick the 11th players on each of the four division teams. Voting is now open and will run through Monday night.
The other captains selected by fan vote are Colorado Avalanche centre Nathan MacKinnon (Central), Washington left wing Alex Ovechkin (Metropolitan) and Edmonton Oilers centre Connor McDavid (Pacific).
Sidney Crosby, who has dealt with injuries this season, was not among the players named.
