CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, have announced a pair of roster moves. The team has traded the rights to G/F Sheldon Mac to the Stockton Kings in exchange for the rights to G/F Dwayne Sutton and Stockton’s own 2022 NBA G League Draft 2nd round choice. Cleveland has also claimed F Wes Iwundu from the available player pool.
Iwundu (6-7, 195, Kansas State) played three games with the Atlanta Hawks in 2021-22 and averaged 7.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in 27.4 minutes per game. He played in 41 NBA games between the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans last season. Iwundu will be active for tonight’s game versus Grand Rapids and puts the roster at 11 Charge players and a pair of Cavaliers two-way players.
Mac played in six games for the Charge this season and averaged 14.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 30.0 minutes per game. Sutton last played for the Santa Cruz Warriors during the 2020-21 NBA G League season before being waived due to season-ending injury.
