Minnesota finds itself in a tough situation with the trade deadline just a week away. The Athletic’s Jon Krawczynski has been covering the Wolves for 17 years and feels it’d be hard to identify a group that gets along better than this current unit.
They genuinely root for each other, and that enthusiasm is born out in the way they share the ball and the all-out hustle on defense. They are bringing out the best in each other. D’Angelo Russell is having the best season of his career, Anthony Edwards is blossoming into a star, Karl-Anthony Towns is playing better sustained defense than he ever has, Jarred Vanderbilt should be in the running for the Most Improved Player award and Taurean Prince can’t miss all of a sudden.
Any trades made could upset that equilibrium.
With that said, Krawczynski analyzed the Wolves roster, and gave his view of who is staying and who could be on the move.
