At what point did you know golf was something you were good at and you wanted to pursue at the next level: I wouldn’t say I’m good at it. I would say I like it a lot. I probably have known forever that I’ve wanted to play college golf. It has always been a dream of mine since primary. I started playing golf when I was four years old, so the build-up and the natural step after graduating high school were to come to the U.S. and further my golf career.
Where have you seen the most growth in yourself since stepping foot at MSU: Once I came here, because of the coach, there was a big emphasis on the short game, so I think the area I most grown has been my short game like chipping and bunker shots, which I am very grateful for because coming into MSU, I wasn’t as great nor confident with my approach shots.
What are your goals for the Spring 2022 season: As a team, it is essential to gain back the status we deserve playing as a team and executing when it’s needed. With the conference, understanding what the purpose is for us and how to play better. Individually, grow as a player, understand my game, work to support the team, and be a better scorer for the team’s purpose.
