Kevin O’Connell’s ascension in the NFL is continuing all the way up to Minnesota. The Vikings are expected to hire the Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator as head coach, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday. The deal cannot be completed until after Super Bowl LVI where O’Connell’s Rams face the Cincinnati Bengals. Less than one week after Major League Baseball made proposals with the hope of creating a path toward a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, the MLB Players Association countered Tuesday with minimal movement on a number of issues. Per sources, the MLBPA offered to reduce its figure for a pre-arbitration bonus pool from $105 million to $100 million. Last Sunday provided the first national televised spotlight for the Advocates Pro Golf Association Tour, a group that provides and fosters a competitive environment for minorities, with an APGA event held at Torrey Pines the day after the completion of the Farmers Insurance Open.
